sponsored tweets

sorry if it seems i’ve been neglecting this blog. real life situations got in the way, so i wasn’t able to do much. i’m still occupied with trying to find work, so it may be a while.

i’m making this post to tell you about another get-paid-to type thing. it’s called sponsored tweets. basically, advertisers pay you to post about them on twitter. you set the price, type of ad, and everything else. i’m just trying it out now to see how it works. if you want to try it, click this link. it’s linked to my other twitter account, since it meets the criteria to get advertisers (60+ days old, 100+ tweets, 100+ followers).

the return of cpc’s

For a few days, CPC’s were unavailable on some sites, including CrownGPT. As of yesterday, they have returned to CrownGPT, albeit just 18 of them for the time being. But look on the bright side, they’re back and still crediting as well as before.

Just a few things to note:

- CPC’s can only be completed once per site per 24 hours.
- For each CPC offer, you must click on one link on the landing page, and browse the site.
- It is a good idea to clear cookies after every 5-10 offers to help the tracking and crediting process.
- CPC’s reset every 24 hours after being completed.

Follow those simple rules, and you’ll be making some money in no time.

The Intro

It sounds far fetched, but it’s true. You can get paid for reading e-mails, clicking ads, and taking surveys. All for a low, low cost of $0.00. It does take a little bit of effort, but you can do it all from the comfort of your home.

This is no get-rich-quick scheme. GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites are no replacement for a full time job. Instead, they provide a way to make a little bit of extra cash that can go towards your lunch or maybe even laundry. It’s not much – you get paid from a few cents up to a dollar to read an e-mail or sign up for something – but it adds up over time. And time is really all you need, other than patience. It takes a few minutes to fill out the surveys, and a while after that for them to credit.

What do you need to get started? First, you’ll a separate e-mail address. Your inbox will be flooded with confirmation e-mails, e-mails you get paid to read, and spam. You definitely don’t want that in your regular e-mail. Next, you’ll want to get more e-mail addresses. A good provider for this is GMX. You can make up to ten e-mail accounts with them from just one account. Still, you can use Yahoo!, Live, and GMail. Note that the “dot trick” (adding a dot to the username in GMail addresses to make it appear different) will not work.

Why do you need multiple e-mail addresses? Many advertisers belong to the same family If you try to use one e-mail address for one offer, and the same one from another from the same advertiser/group – you won’t get credited for the second one. There will be another post about this later, and I’ll make a page with a list of advertisers and what groups they belong to.

Also, you’ll need to know how to clear your cookies. In Firefox, all you have to do is go to Tools > Clear Private Data, and make sure “Cookies” is checked. Alternatively, if you’re a Windows user, you can download CCLeaner, which will clear cookies from all your browsers.

Finally, one thing I can’t stress enough is patience. Seriously. It does take time – between actually filling out the offers, waiting for them to credit, and getting to the cash-out goal. This is the very reason it’s not a replacement for a full time job. Though, the amount you make depends on how much time and energy you put into it. For me, it’s easy, since I am unemployed. (In theory, I’d be making at least $135 “extra” a month). For someone who’s employed, it may be different.

On the sidebar, you’ll see a list of GPT sites that I frequent. Note that I stick to around five at a time – which brings up another thing: don’t sign up for too many of these sites. Stay focused only on a few of them. The reason for this is that each of the different GPT sites would have the same offers, and you cannot repeat them. So find a few sites that you like, and focus on just those. I’ll also be posting some success stories about those sites soon.
